紐西蘭首都威靈頓不僅是政治權力的所在，更是一個融合自然風光與制度理性的小型國度典範。

第四天的參訪自早晨便充滿重量，我們來到國會山莊（Parliament Buildings），這裡是紐西蘭立法與行政權力的交匯之地。

紐西蘭國會由「國會大廈（Parliament House）」、「蜂巢大廈（The Beehive）」、「議會圖書館」組成。蜂巢為行政首長辦公處，形狀奇特，是城市地標之一。

紐西蘭採「一院制國會」（Unicameral Parliament），由 120 位國會議員組成，所有立法、審議與行政監督皆在這個單一立法機構中完成。

這與台灣的立法院相似，但台灣形式上保留監察院與考試院，使得權力分散程度略有不同。

今天是外交小尖兵在澳洲與紐西蘭的第三天，也是告別雪梨的早晨。清晨六點起床後，我們前往機場，搭乘飛機前往紐西蘭首都威靈頓。

雖然在雪梨停留的時間不到兩天，但這段時間已讓我們對澳洲的民主政治、國際交流與文化景觀有了第一手的體會。

雪梨中央商業區（CBD）地點優越，是商業與歷史建築交錯的核心地段，我們的下榻地點離海德公園僅八分鐘，深刻感受到城市中的綠意與美學。

這種城市空間安排也反映出澳洲對生活品質的重視，是一種值得台灣城市借鏡的公共規劃思維。

Hello everyone, I am Diplomatic Cadet Emily. In my first year of high school, I participated in the National Young Diplomats Competition and earned the opportunity to represent Taiwanese youth alongside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on a visit to Australia and New Zealand. In “The Turning Point,” I will sequentially share my experiences during that trip. Our first stop is Australia.
This journey not only allowed me to witness cultural diversity and the practical side of diplomacy, but also made me realize that cultivating an international perspective does not happen overnight—it builds up through every observation and every exchange. I hope that through my sharing, you all can get a close-up sense of the charm of international diplomacy: letting Taiwan step out into the world, and letting the world step into Taiwan.
